DØ Summer Workshop 2012 - Lancaster University

Introduction

The 2012 DØ Summer Workshop will be held at Lancaster University from 23-27 July 2012. Arrangements for the workshop are now being finalised. It is expected that the workshop registration fee will be £225 (subject to minor changes, see the registration page for details) if registration is made by the end of April.

Pre-registration is now open and is being used to collect information to be used for planning the workshop. When registration (payment) opens all pre-registered participants will be contacted.

The conference is expected to commence at 9:00 am on Monday 23 July and finish at approximately 5:00 pm on Friday 27 July. The preliminary conference programme is:

Lancaster University and surroundings

Lancaster University is situated on a campus 5 km south of the historic city of Lancaster. Good public transport links the University and the city.

The nearest airport, Manchester International Airport, is approximately an hour away by taxi or train. See Travel/Visa/Maps section.

The university campus is within excursion distance of two National Parks, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
